Are you a primary teacher in England? Are you teaching year four or year five computing this year?

If you are - we need you!

At the computing education research centre I work for, we are investigating how we can adapt computing resources to make them more "culturally relevant".

What does culturally relevant pedagogy mean?

Well, you will find out as you will learn all about this pedagogical approach in a free workshop in November 2022. We will fund your supply and travel costs so that you can attend the workshop.

In the workshop, we will work together to design changes to an existing set of lesson plans to make them more relevant for your class. Then we will ask you to try them out in the second half term of the 2023 spring term.

To register interest in the research project, please sign up here!

You won’t be disappointed, Jordan. We did it last year with Jane and learnt so much. A real game changer!
