Oak National Academy has developed an AI lesson planning assistant tool that can help teachers create high-quality lessons and resources. The prompt-driven design allows teachers to tailor content for their classes and is designed to save time planning.  Teachers will be able to export these in formats that can be taken away and used by teachers and pupils in lessons.

Resources that the tool creates are based on Oak's released subject content which is freely available and fully adaptable as it is released under an Open Government License. For computing, this will be created by the Raspberry Pi Foundation as a series of releases during the 2024/25 academic year.

This session is an introduction for computing teachers interested in learning more about how the tool was designed and also how to use it to help them plan bespoke computing lessons.
