Hi Everyone,

I am looking for up to a maximum of four primary schools ideally in North Norfolk (this is because our grant stipulates this) to join our Lego Spike Robotics program.

Each school will get a Lego Spike set, resources  and training at APHS. The idea is to promote STEM learning and robotics in primary schools. My expectation is that each primary involved will create a robot using the lego Spike kit provided and attend a competition (just before Easter) where students compete in a number of robotics challenges including navigating a maze, line following and avoidance of objects.

We have a class set of Lego Spike sets that can be loaned out for short periods of time (up to a max of a month) to help schools deliver the skills for this challenge. We do not specify the year group(s) doing the project this is for you to decide..

If you are interested in this please contact me at Alderman Peel to discuss further. If your primary is out of the North Norfolk area you can participate but we cannot provide the Lego Spike Kit., but you would still be able to participate in the competition, training etc.

There is no cost to this we have a grant from Dudgeon Wind Farms and Norfolk community project to help fund it.
