Codebash Coding Platform Launch
CodeBash Pilot Launches This Week – One Week Trials Available
Over the summer term, several schools trialled CodeBash, a browser-based coding platform I’ve been developing specifically for secondary schools.
I’m really grateful to those schools who have agreed to continue into this September’s pilot, and to the volunteer testers who spotted bugs and suggested features – you’ve helped shape the platform into something genuinely classroom-ready.
This week, the pilot officially launches with an international school, and I’m opening up one-week trials for others to try it out.
What it does:
-
Runs Python code instantly in the browser
-
Auto-marks tasks to save teachers hours of debugging
-
Gives teachers a dashboard showing where students are struggling, with real-time alerts when help is needed
-
Offers AI help that guides students through mistakes rather than just giving them the answer
-
Works on any device with no setup required
-
Fully GDPR-compliant with private student accounts
Why it’s useful:
Teachers can focus on teaching rather than troubleshooting, students build coding confidence, and schools get a scalable, low-maintenance coding curriculum solution.
