I built this site https://ww1timeline.my.canva.site/aiwithmrswallace/ because there's so much more to learn about AI than we have time for in class. It's aimed at my students and their families and covers the basics in plain language with no jargon.

The student section includes video guides I've made on how AI works, how to write a good prompt using the PREP and EDIT frameworks, how to spot bias, and how to stay safe online. Everything is linked to the UNCRC. There's also clear guidance on using AI for schoolwork without putting exam results at risk.

The parent and carer section has starter guides for families with younger and older children, recommended books, and links to resources from the BBC, UNICEF and NSPCC. There's also a mini-course explaining how we use AI at Graeme High School.

It's free, it's practical, and you're welcome to share it with your own students and parents.
