The Digital Careers Posters are designed to help students understand the wide range of careers that computing supports.
Each poster focuses on a specific digital career and includes a profile of a real person working in that role. By highlighting professionals, the posters make digital careers feel more relatable, attainable, and relevant for young people who may be beginning to think about their future pathways.
Alongside the posters, the resource includes a supporting document with links to short videos, in which the individuals featured discuss their roles and the journey that led them there in more detail.
This resource can be used in a variety of contexts, including:
-
Displaying in classrooms or shared spaces to spark discussion
-
Supporting careers education and PSHE lessons
-
Introducing or contextualising computing topics
-
Challenging stereotypes about who works in digital and technology roles
