Having worked in the Computer Science and Digital Creativity department at Tonbridge School for a few years, I have built up a range of practical lessons and experiments that help students understand some of the more abstract concepts within Computer Science and support Students that are interested in Computer Engineering.

These live on the school's VLE, but to make them generally accessible I've transferred them to this Weebly site.

They are not aligned with any particular exam board, but should be relevant to most of the key CS topics. The site is called piforgcse, but in practice students at KS3 and upwards seem to find it useful. Not all of the lessons require a pi, some are investigations that can be carried out on a windows or mac  computer.

We find that the students really enjoy learning by doing. These lessons and experiments have been tried and tested over several years so should be bug free.

Not everyone has the resources for a full class set of Raspberry Pis, but the lessons should still work as a teacher directed lesson with only one ( The network lesson will require several Microbits to be useful!)
