This is a selection of EYFS presentations/resources that I have shared at recent CAS events.
I hope that you find them useful.
EYFS Toys for Computing (see attached)
Mini Twister Mat Template : Can be printed and laminated A3 or A4. Use cut out coloured circles (or plastic counters) to plan a sequence of moves around the mat.
- Start with children moving themselves around a large mat, then move on to planning a route for a soft toy or Lego minifigure on this smaller version of the mat.
- Instructions can be given one colour at a time, then a sequence of 3 or 4 moves or a whole sequence can be planned as learners become more confident.
Presentations from nine Early Years enthusiasts (contact me for more information if required) - see attached.
Stories for Computing in EYFS and beyond - A small selection of stories that work well with EYFS and KS1/2 for discussing online safety and developing digital literacy skills.
10+ Ways to Use Technology to Inspire in the Early Years - A selection of ideas to show how technology can be embedded throughout the Early Years curriculum
