TLM/NAACE Computing Scheme of Work

TLM has created an online scheme of work and linked lesson plans to support the KS3 Computing Curriculum. The curriculum also matches an online Baseline Testing system which we are developing to track and measure progression.

We have also set up a [Google Group (https://groups.google.com/forum/utm_source=digest&utm_medium=email/#!forum/key-stage-3-baseline) to discuss the Baseline Testing.

The assessment criteria developed from the POS and embedded in the lesson plans are accredited by Ofqual and approved by the DfE for league table points through TLM/NAACE certificates in Open Systems Computing. These have a different discount code to GCSE Computing so for those that want to start in KS3 with points scoring qualifications, any pupils going on to GCSE will get those points too.

Baseline testing, SOW, Lesson Plans and on-line progress tracking are all free and anyone is free to use as much or as little of them as suits their needs. All resources at Computing Resources are Creative Commons, licensed for sharing. They are all also very much a work in progress so we welcome any comments and suggestions which will be built back into the resources.
