A lecture given by Professor Alan Bundy that clearly outlines the challenges and opportunities facing Computing and Computing teachers in Scottish schools.
###About Tom Conlon Tom Conlon was a senior lecturer and tutor for many years providing wisdom and insight to many of the Computing teachers who did their teacher training there. He introduced his students to a range of powerful ideas including minimalist instruction, cognitive apprenticeship, concept maps and the ideas of constructionism and constructivism. He was also responsible for helping to introduce Artificial Intelligence into Intermediate 2, Higher and Advanced Higher Computing qualifications and was the author of the educational expert shell Intermodeller, the concept mapping tool Conception and an educational Prolog interpreter.
