Binary and Bitmapped Images

An Excel spreadsheet that allows students to enter denary bytes to produce an image. This is useful to teach binary numbers to KS3/4 and is especially useful for GCSE Computer Science to understand monochrome images and how multiple colours can be represented (see the second tab on the spreadsheet). Also useful as an introduction at A Level or as a 'taster session' for potential Computing students.
If you wish to modify the resource then the sheet is protected with a password. See the ReadMe file for the password.
Rev 2 adds an additional hexadecimal sheet and changes the multicoloured sheet to work the same way as the others (to draw any picture) (by Doug Clark)
Rev 3 restores the multicoloured sheet to reveal a hidden picture pre-chosen by the teacher (by David Barnard)
