Free Webinar and Funding Opportunity: AI in STEM Education
Science on Stage Germany is offering a free webinar on AI in STEM Education (in English) on March 10, 16:30-17:30 CET as well as AI literacy grants (see below).
A thoughtful and well-informed approach to artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly essential in education. But how can we help students understand the basic principles, opportunities, and risks of AI? And how can we motivate them to develop AI-related skills?
In this webinar, our speakers Liliana Fernandes & Cláudia Meirinhos, primary school teachers in Portugal, will present practical, hands-on approaches to integrating AI into STEM education. Participants will be introduced to ready-to-use classroom materials, including the EcoKids Teach AI resources, as well as additional beginner-friendly tools, examples, and tips.
Participation is free of charge, and certificates of participation will be issued. Please register for this event here.
AI Literacy Grants (up to €500)
Science on Stage Germany also offers AI Literacy Grants of up to €500 to support seminars and workshops focused on teachers’ professional development in AI literacy and AI competencies.
The call is open to schools, parents’ initiatives, and individual STEM teachers in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
More information on eligible costs and the application process can be found here.
Science on Stage Germany is part of Science on Stage Europe – a network of STEM teachers dedicated to the exchange of best practice teaching ideas across Europe.
