CAS St Ives (Cambs) Primary Computing Hub Network meeting

Autumn Term Network Meeting for the St Ives (Cambs) Primary Computing Hub.

Local computing leads from the area's primary schools get together to share current strategies, best practice and collaborate ideas.

We have a flexible agenda but expect to cover in this meeting:

• Cyber security including phishing protection and 2FA rollout
• AI use within school by adults and pupils
• Policy development progress (particularly AI)
• Parent/School pushback on screen time homework
• Keeping pupil kit up to date with no budget to do it
• Audio Visual equipment used by pupils for media creation
• Kit sharing possibilities across schools (Microbits, Crumbles, Raspberry Pi, Cameras etc

Any burning issues can also be discussed

Aimed at computing leads but all interested teachers welcome. Any other school workforce or trainees very welcome.
