The Computing Quality Framework (CQF) is a DfE funded, easy-to-use tool designed to help primary schools review and improve their computing provision against nationally recognised benchmarks. A new Digital Skills and AI Benchmark has been added to the assessment criteria for gaining the computing quality mark.
During this session, NCCE primary Subject Matter expert(s) will examine the characteristics of a Level 4 (Quality Mark Level) application, outline the expected commentary, and discuss the various types of evidence that may be submitted.
What we’ll cover
- What the Computing Quality Framework is and how it supports schools to evaluate and develop their computing provision.
- Focus in on the Digital Skills and AI Benchmark
- Explore the difference between a Level 3 and a Level 4 self-assessment in this benchmark.
- Discuss the commentary and evidence we would expect to see
Whether you’re new to the CQF or looking to refresh your understanding of how it can support you, particularly with the new digital skill and AI element of the framework, this session will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to self-assess against this benchmark.
