Empowering Computing Educators – Regional CAS Conference

Computing teachers are invited to attend the Yorkshire and Humber CAS Conference 2026 at the University of Hull on Thursday 25 June. This one‑day event offers practical CPD, inspirational speakers and hands‑on workshops for primary, secondary and trainee teachers.

Planned highlights include a keynote on AI in the classroom, curriculum updates, practical sessions with physical computing and robotics, and opportunities to explore national programmes such as CyberFirst and UK STEM. The day also includes networking, lunch, and guidance on CAS and wider CPD opportunities.

Refreshments/lunch will be provided, courtesy of the British Computer Society/CAS.

A great chance to gain ideas you can use straight away and connect with computing educators from across the region.

More details including a detailed programme will be published nearer the event.

If you have proposals for content, or are willing to volunteer to delver within the session, contact Neil (see event contact).
