Join us for an inspiring and hands-on session exploring how Copilot can transform teaching and learning. Whether you’re tech-curious or already experimenting with AI in your classroom, this event will give you practical strategies, real-world examples, and confidence to integrate Copilot meaningfully. This session will be led by Joe Cozens (Head of Transformation & AI at Clifton High School) and Jonathan O'Donnell (AI Lead at Harris Federation).

In this session, we will:

  • Demonstrate how teachers can use Copilot to plan lessons, generate differentiated materials, scaffold student tasks, and provide rapid formative feedback.
  • Explore classroom use cases
  • Address equity and safety: best practices for ensuring fairness, bias mitigation, student data privacy, and age-appropriate usage.
  • Share case studies: see how classrooms across different age groups and subjects have integrated Copilot, what challenges they faced, and what they learned.
  • Discuss integration strategies: how to embed Copilot into your curriculum, assessments, classroom workflows, and professional development.

Why Attend?

Artificial intelligence assistants like Copilot represent a shift from novelty tools to embedded teaching partners. For teachers, Copilot can be a force multiplier — helping to save time, enhance feedback, and personalize learning. For students, it can act as a scaffold or co-thinker, promoting deeper inquiry rather than replacing thinking. This event aims to move beyond hype, giving you concrete methods and cautions for real classroom use.

Who Should Join?

This session is ideal for:

  • Classroom teachers (primary, secondary, further)
  • Subject leads and department heads
  • Educational technology / edtech coordinators
  • School leaders and professional development leads
  • Anyone with interest in enhancing pedagogy with AI
