West Midlands "AI Teachmeet"
Local Community
Face to Face
Have you been using or trying to use AI for some time?
Do you want to know more about what others are actually doing in an open and honest way?
Do you want insights from currently practicing teachers / educators from a variety of subjects and phases?
If the answer to all of those questions is yes, then you should come to our CAS West Midlands AI Teach Meet, in conjunction with Oak Academy, Cambridge OCR and with a with a FREE copy of the "AI Special Edition Impact journal" - thanks to the Chartered College of Teaching.
We have the following confirmed speakers
a) Stuart Davison, Computing Lead at Oak National Academy
b) Javier De La Heras, Vice Principal, Quality of Education, The Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton
c) Ceredig Cattanach-Chell, Subject Advisor, Cambridge OCR
d) Ben Davies, Primary Specialist, Computing at School
This is not an event about whether schools we should use AI or not. We ask speakers to share what’s worked (and what hasn’t), which tools they’re using, and why!
This event is open to ANY currently practicing school teachers or leaders in West Midlands or nearby, and thanks to Computing At School and Bromsgrove School is completely free to attend.
Currently practicing teachers from a wide range of subjects and school phases (primary / secondary / sixth form) are welcome to attend.
This is an in-person event only.
NB: There are limited spaces so do only register for this event if you have permission from your employer to attend.
