South Nottinghamshire Computing - Data Handling KS1 & 2

We would like to welcome anyone who is involved with KS1 and KS2 computing.  

In this session we shall look at data handling and different ways in which this can be taught across both key stages.  Gill Zelynskyj will share her ideas for Y1 and Y2 data handling based on J2E and Teach Computing.  

I will look at the Year 4 Data logging unit and explore different ways to teach this without a traditional data logger.  

There will also be time to share any good ideas or projects that you might be involved with.

This is a very supportive, friendly group and a great opportunity to chat with other computing teachers - everyone is welcome!

Update: Lucie and Becky from Kitronik will be coming along to share some of their computing products suitable for data handling and will also bring along their new robot Mai-Z.
