CAS Physical Computing Working Group meeting with special guests Julie Kirk - React! and the Micro:bit Foundation

In this session we'll have a presentation from special guests Dr Julie Kirk who works at the particle physics department at STFC and the Micro:bit Foudation.  Julie will be sharing details about the trigger used to determine events at the Large Hadron Collider to store for analysis and will be sharing details about her micro:bit initiative React! for late primary and early secondary audiences.

Jo Inglis and Bláthnaid Walsh-Heron from The Micro:bit Foundation will be sharing some important updates including a preview of new resources coming soon, first lessons with MakeCode and the micro:bit and Science exploration with the new professional development courses.

In this session we'll also be sharing updates from the wider community.

All welcome, whether you are new to physical computing or an expereinced educator.  It's a great opportunity to collect new ideas, share best practice and stay up to date.
