Building links with schools and the University of York

Come and join us to see the resources and facilities at the University of York Department of Computer Science and discuss how we can build & plan outreach / parterships between schools and the University that encourage more students to enjoy success in Computer Science.

The staff at the University of York Computer Science department have been so supportive in hosting students from Fulford School for a work experience placement and we're keen to discuss how we can plan future partnerships and events for other schools that we can use to encourage more students to consider a computing related career pathway.

Exact agenda and programme to be confirmed closer to the time, but we hope this will be a time and space to make connections and hear how the University's outreach aims overlap with our hopes as teachers.
