Teach Computing Curriculum KS1 KS2

Our newly formed primary CAS community, based out of Aletheia Academies Trust, welcomes Will Franklin (primary teacher and CAS Community Outreach Manager) who will be running a workshop on developing a primary computing curriculum and introduce you to a complete KS1 and 2 curriculum that has been designed by the National Centre for Computing Education. There will also be an opportunity to network with other local teachers.

In the session, we will be looking at and celebrating the successes of the computing curriculum at our own schools and then explore the high-quality, free resources available from the NCCE to build on what's currently being taught to make it even better!

The extensive range of training, resources and support covers elements of the curriculum at every Key Stage, catering for all levels of subject knowledge and experience. The Teach Computing curriculum contains everything you need including lesson plans, slides, worksheets, homework and assessment.
Will will also talk us through how to use the Teach Computing website. Please register before the CAS meeting.

To get the most out of this workshop, please also bring a copy of your computing curriculum documents with you (a paper copy or on a device).

To register, log in to the CAS website and click on the red 'Register' button beside the event title.

New to CAS? Register today for access to thousands of resources, local and regional events and discussions with other teachers from across the country. It's free to register and access everything!
