Come and join us to chat through getting our students to learn both Theory and Programming (appropriate for different CS GCSE exam boards).  I'll introduce Interleaving and then ask colleagues to share their recommendations for good learning revision methods using a series of prompt slides.  I am demonstrating 4-a-day Interleaving sheets I have written for Edexcel CS GCSE in partnership with Sam Wickins/computerscienceuk.com.

*I will collate the chat with all our recommendations and share online to delegates, along with a link to the Edexcel CS GCSE Interleaving sheets.

8:00pm: Welcome
8:05pm: Main topic: shared recommendations for getting our students to learn both Theory and Programming (appropriate for different CS GCSE exam boards).*
8:45pm: Leave if you like or stick around for general chat
9:00pm: End

We'd love to get more people involved in hosting and leading CAS community events. Do get in touch if you have any ideas and suggestions.

We know that there's no perfect time that everyone can make but we really want to support small departments and individual computing teachers. We plan to alternate between 4pm and 8pm online slots on the third Thursday before a holiday each half term.

Here are some future dates for this year: we look forward to seeing you if you can make it:
Thu 26/01/2023 4pm
Thu 16/03/2023 8pm
Thu 11/05/2023 4pm
Thu 06/07/2023 8pm
