CAS Cheltenham and Gloucester Primary

Welcome to the CAS Cheltenham and Gloucester Primary Community, based at the University of Gloucestershire, Francis Close Hall campus. We are a friendly community and aim to provide members with opportunities to share and develop computing expertise as well as networking with others in our community. We aim to have meetings at least once a term in the computer suite so that we can undertake “hands-on” activities when possible. The community is run by Alyson Meredith, senior lecturer in education at the university, and although it has a primary focus, welcomes colleagues from secondary and further education as well as primary teaching trainees.

We have strong links with our local NCCE computing hub, Odyssey, based at Pates Grammar School and the CyberFirst Schools programme, which encourages collaboration between local schools and the National Cyber Security Centre.

I am looking forward to seeing some of you at our first Face to Face Cheltenham Primary community meeting this year.
Please could you download “EasySense2” (not EasySense) to your phone or tablet before the event. It is free and doesn’t take up much space.
