Welcome to the CAS Ashford Secondary Community.

This community is for secondary teachers of Computing, or other disciplines who are interested in Computing education, as well as non-teachers who are keen to engage with Secondary Computing teachers/teaching. Any teacher who lives in the Ashford/Tenterden area, or those that work in secondary schools in the area are welcome, or any nearby area not covered by a CAS Community.

The aim is to meet virtually or in person several times during the year to discuss topics of interest, share good practise and ideas for engaging students and encourage more students to pursue study in this subject area.

Hi all (Ashford Secondary community)

I hope this gets to you, and notifications are set such that you’ll find out any news / event details and discussions.

I do want to highlight that we have a “get together” meeting coming up on Feb 22nd (Wednesday) at 4.30pm. Hope to see you there! Click here for details and sign up.

CAS has switched off the “Mail” facility in our old community management back-end, so I have no way to communicate with the community apart from this discussion. So, if you see this, could you buzz back a little “I saw this” message, so we can see if the assertion this is as good as email is correct!

If I hear nothing, I’ll assume you didn’t see this!!
