TEALS - volunteers from industry into YOUR school

The Chartered Institute for IT (BCS) is proud to introduce TEALS (Technology, Education and Learning Support), a program designed to support secondary school teachers in delivering high-quality computing education. In partnership with Microsoft and The Hg Foundation, TEALS pairs teachers with industry volunteers to boost subject knowledge, enrich student learning, and accelerate teacher professional development.  Volunteers support a teacher in class every week across an academic year, providing additional context and providing increased capacity for student learning.  Following a pilot year, we are accepting applications from schools to be involved in Year 2, from September 2024.
