We’re already planning our big CAS event for this summer!

CAS Conference 2024 will bring us all together with a fantastic line-up of speakers, a chance to get together and share ideas, and hear about the latest innovations in computing education.

It’s the first time that CAS Conference has been held as an ‘in person’ event since 2019 and we’re thrilled that, after a five-year gap, we’ll be coming together once again to make friends and connections to champion computing education.

Choose from a programme of over 65 workshops covering a range of topics relevant to primary, secondary and A-level teachers.

Becci Peters, our Computing Subject Lead said “It may be a few months away but we’re so excited that CAS Conference is returning. We’re looking forward to seeing new faces and long-standing friends. And do take a moment over the coming academic year to think about what ideas and developments you might be able to bring to the conference. We’d love to hear about innovation in CAS classrooms!”

Pre-conference catch up

For anyone staying over the night before the CAS Conference, we are organising an evening with Epic pre-conference catch-up with food and drinks at Ada on Friday 12 July from 5pm.

You’ll also be able to take part in interactive activities with Epic Games. This will give you a chance to explore Epic’s Unreal Engine & Fortnite including LEGO Fortnite. There will also be a chance to explore the Rube Goldberg learning kit which can be used for the Rube Goldberg challenge.

If you want to join us, just remember to register for the catch-up when booking your ticket (or email us closer to the date if your plans change!).
