North West - Lancaster

Welcome to CAS Regional Centre North West - Lancaster

CAS North West Lancaster is run by the School of Computing and Communications at Lancaster University with support from the University of Cumbria. We support over 20 master teachers and some 12 hubs across Lancashire, Cumbria and just over the border into Yorkshire.

We have been closely involved in the development of the micro:bit and have run several hands on workshops through our centre and hubs for both secondary and primary teachers.

We have dedicated administrative staff, who can be contacted over e-mail or the phone, to support our master teachers, lead schools and indeed any teacher or school in our region who needs help or would like advice. Please do get in touch, even to just say hello.
