Carrie Anne Philbin, Director of Educator Support at Raspberry Pi Foundation, joined CAS in 2011 and has been actively involved ever since. She is a board member and runs a working group called CAS Include, which looks at how to broaden diversity and inclusion within the classroom.

This month, children from over forty countries are preparing to take part in the UK Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge, sponsored by Google. Organised by the University of Oxford, it introduces students to computational thinking through a series of short questions and tasks. It’s delivered online and direct to schools.
