We were pleased so many of you joined us for our CAS Autumn Event, our fortnight of webinars and panel events with a special focus on cyber.
Our programme saw four keynote speakers, Anne-Marie Imafidon, Rupert Ward, Maggie Philbin and Mark Martin as well as two panel events focussing on cyber security, aimed at primary and secondary school teachers.
“I am delighted that we have led a successful event which replaced our round of autumn face-to-face conferences. The event showcased inspirational keynote speakers alongside a specialist Cyber security topic,” said Beverly Clarke, National Community Manager for CAS.
“Cyber security is a top issue for individuals and business, and these sessions set the headlines for cyber security, showed how to gain a career in cybersecurity and also supporting curriculum material for both primary and secondary teachers.”
We’re grateful to everyone who took part in such a vibrant programme and to members for their lively contributions to discussions.
“CAS Autumn Event was a great experience; lots of engaged and enthusiastic participants both from the CAS community and beyond,” Prof Rupert Ward told us, after his keynote session.
“I really enjoyed the engagement both in the talk and in the CASChat where we shared some great ideas and reflections. Already looking forward to the next one!”
We’ve also got exciting plans afoot for our 2021 events, but if you missed our Autumn Event catch-up on any of the sessions here - https://www.gotostage.com/channel/casautumnevent.
