Are you a computing teacher (any phase), a computing initial teacher trainer (any phase), a computing education researcher? Or do you work in a computer science outreach team or make or deliver computing education resources or CPD?
We need your help!
Please complete our CAS Research Working Group survey on Improving School and University Engagement
We want to find out about the barriers and benefits of working across school and university groups. For example, would you like to access research about teaching computing, do you have trainee students working in your school, do your students attend university events (or would you like them to)? Your responses will inform guidance on how to improve the way we work together in the provision of computing education.
Our report will be freely available and will include a description of the current landscape of the engagement between schools and universities with regard to computing education as well as recommendations on how to improve working across these groups.
The survey will be open until mid-December 2020, but don’t delay - have your say!
This report is being produced by a group of organisations including CAS, the Council and Heads of Computing, Queen Mary University of London, Glasgow University, Swansea University, Stranmillis University College and BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT.
The CAS Research Working Group supports members to become more engaged with research and to raise the profile of research in computing education. If you would like to know more about CAS Research and how to get involved, please contact Jane Waite firstname.lastname@example.org.
