Going forward, David and I will be regularly updating the South East Wales regional centre page with resources from the CPD sessions that have taken place shortly after each event. Here are the resources from the 2017-18 Regional Centre CPD programme. Note I will add the resource links as soon as I get them over the next few days.

Craig presented a quick run down of using AppInventor for app development
March 2018: Boolean Logic (David Tennant, University South Wales)

Sam and Emyr Jones discussed their roles as Prevent Officers. Sam has asked us to make you aware that since his visit, a referral process has been implemented in secondary schools. Secondary schools are now able to refer individuals who are immersed in low-level cybercrime or who are causing concern for home education visits and cyber security workshops. Sam has also asked us to remind members that the DVLA coding challenge is now open for submission with potential prizes of IT equipment for schools, details are here.
June 2018: Python Basics (Julie Mason, Cathays High)
Julie gave a comprehensive introduction to Python.
