This video simply helps to illustrate just how the session can enable teachers to further progress their pupils learning of Computer Science in KS3.
In this session the focus is on a small number of core concepts and constructs that lay at the heart of the successful teaching and learning of programming in KS3, whilst also running through teaching and learning across all Key Stages and creating a continuity for pupils and teachers.
This particular session looks at:
- Understanding the key concepts required to write programs
- Recognising the 3 key constructs in every program
- Becoming familiar with functions and procedures
- Recognising their role in structured programming
