POSTED IN London
Trevor and I spent a short time at BETT last week. On Friday, I presented at the Google Teaching Theatre talking about Computational Thinking, answering follow up questions on the CAS stand C300. I also managed to make the Teachmeet, what a fabulous way to share ideas.
Trevor spent time finding out about new physical computing options, and meeting our amazing teachers who visited the CAS team on Thursday.
My highlights were the Nic Hughes', Master Teacher and physical computing guru, crumble jacket, meeting CLC Simon (#CASChat) and giving out badges to the Master Teachers, Lead Schools and Hub Leads that I met.
My personal favorite new product was the TTS LED pad and Scratch controller - I am hoping we can trial it as part of our new Primary Physical Computing Special Interest Group - will Nic wear that too!!
The CAS team were there everyday, promoting and celebrating the work you all do! Thank you so much to the team for helping to promote Master Teachers and Hubs here in London, they handed out over 100 flyers advertising CAS London and our events and did an amazing job flying the CAS flag.
