Alan began his teaching career as an IT teacher and was dropped into the subject of Computing. It didn't come naturally at first and he wasn't even certain how to teach it let alone if he could teach it. But he is now a real expert in the field and has much to share with those teachers progressing along the same journey. He is also a skilled Master Teacher who contributes much to CAS and teachers of computing wherever they are based.
