Saturday 15th October saw CAS North West (Manchester) host a FREE day of exciting, engaging and worthwhile workshops for teachers, teaching assistants and supporters of Computer Science.
We welcomed nearly 100 delegates and 25 workshop leaders who all gave their time freely. 25 workshops ran throughout the day which included:
Codebug for beginners, Creating with Crumbles, Cubetto introduction, Data Communications, Early Years CS, Engaging reluctant learners, Using Flowgorithm, Little Man Computer, Networking for beginners with Linux, Normalisation and Entity Relationship Diagrams from databases, Practical communications in binary, Using Sphero to teach maths, Wearable technology, Various levels of Python, Raspberry Pi, Sense Hats, From burglar alarms to data logging with Scratch, teaching with Picoboards and more!
