Following the success of our Ada Lovelace Day earlier this year we are proud to announce a second girls day aimed at Year 8 pupils. Schools are invited to bring 4 pupils to experience different elements of computing.

Saturday 11th June 2016 - Diversity in Education Conference
The Computing At School #include Diversity in Computing Education Conference 2016 will take place at the University of Manchester on 11th June 2016. This year our aim is to bring together the teaching expertise of classroom teachers with the knowledge and experience of industry professionals and academics to create opportunities for all to learn practical startegies to teach children Computing from accross our five strands of Gender, Ethnicity, Disability, Socio-Economic Status and SEN.

18th June 2016 - CAS National Conference - Birmingham
The conference will have its usual mix of plenary sessions, over 40 different workshops, the opportunity to network and take home practical examples of lessons and other resources that you can use in your classroom. There are sessions for both primary and secondary teachers of computing.
