The Northern Ireland branch of the BCS is delighted to announce the IT Educators of the Year awards for 2022. These awards will recognise and celebrate our educators who innovate, challenge and embrace technology to encourage and support our young people driving computing and digital education in schools. We want to showcase the inspirational individuals and acknowledge these IT educators by highlighting and encouraging their achievements. The winners will be announced at the Livestream ceremony during the Computing at School Conference in June.

The BCSNI IT Educator awards will be presented for primary and post primary. There will be two categories in each.

  • BCSNI IT Educator in Digital Skills 2022 - Primary Sector
  • BCSNI IT Educator in Computing 2022 - Post Primary
  • BCSNI IT Educator in Digital Skills 2022 - Post Primary

These awards recognise those inspirational teachers who have gone above and beyond in raising awareness and deepening understanding of computing, computational thinking and digital skills in schools and among their peers.
