Ofqual publishes arrangements for exam awards 2021

Ofqual has now confirmed how it will award GCSE and A levels this year. Ofqual’s Acting Chief Regulator Simon Lebus has set out details in an article showing how Ofqual has responsed to a letter from the Secretary of State for Education which states that GCSEs, AS and A levels in 2021 should be awarded using teacher assessed grades based on a range of evidence.

Ofqual is also now seeking views on its regulatory arrangements for this year’s exam and has launched two technical consultations today. The consultations remain open until March 11. Full details here;
