Computing Quality Framework

Following the success of our pilot testing phase in Autumn 2021, over 100 schools across England are now using the Computing Quality Framework to self-assess their Computing curriculum!

Training for the 34 Computing Hubs, who had previously taken part in the CQF's pilot testing phase, was carried out in early November, led by BCS, in partnership with STEM Learning. Feedback with regards use and function of the CQF has been positive so far, with excellent reports coming from schools, Hubs, and at MAT level.

The tool is now widely available, with promotion beginning via the Hubs, and continuing through to January 2022 and beyond, with a promotional event in the Winter term. The Department for Education has agreed to further promote this event, and the CQF, through social channels and official comms.
