Northern Ireland

Welcome to CAS Regional Centre Northern Ireland

The CAS Regional Centre for Northern Ireland is based at Stranmillis University College in Belfast. Staff members Irene Bell and Ann O'Neill have worked to create awareness of the importance of computing to our pupils and develop a collegiate network between industry, education and government.

Our commitment to computing permeates all out Initial Teacher Education undergraduate and PGCE courses as demonstrated by the inclusion of computing for all students in each of the four years of their BEd Degree Programme. We also deliver CPD training through commercial courses, government funded training and regional hub meetings.

This year our Annual Conference is taking place on Friday June 23rd 2017 and we are delighted that Simon Humphreys will deliver the keynote presentation. Following the sell out conference last year we have increased the number of workshops providing something for everyone. Follow the updates for the conference at @CAS_NI
